As part of a branding project, I designed a visual identity and corporate campaign for a company specializing in electric transportation. The brand was applied to a business suite, company collateral and ephemera, and a graphics standard guide was developed.

I was assigned the name “Atiloiqös” for an electric transportation company, and began to develop visual entities that could be applied to a wide variety of deliverables. I sketched over a hundred possible ideas including wordmarks, symbols, illustrative representations, and monograms. I then expanded on concepts that received positive feedback during critique rounds and showed the most potential for ideation. The final signature consists of the company name and a mark that both conveys an electric scooter and a capital letter “A”. Through a visual audit of other electric transportation companies, I assigned specific and unique colors to the brand and applied them meaningfully across all collateral, along with the signature.
Here is the mind map I created during the ideation stage:

EPHEMERA
The finalized brand identity for Atiloiqös Electric needed appropriate ephemera to capture the public’s attention, as with any company aiming to become instantly recognizable. I carefully chose and mocked up items that users of scooters and other electric transportation might find practical and appealing. The final ephemera items are an official branded energy drink, a beanie and pair of gloves, and peppermint chewing gum, each sporting the striking “Electric Purple” company color and logo mark.

COLLATERAL MATERIAL
Every company needs a strong identity in every facet, and Atiloiqös Electric is no exception. To convey a sense of unity and consistency across the branding, I designed and mocked up a series of collateral material. These consist of a retail store (outdoor signage and indoor display), packaging for a high end electric scooter, employee uniform (a button down shirt with optional jacket), and office building signage.

GRAPHIC STANDARDS GUIDE
Finally, I designed a Graphic Standards Guide for Atiloiqös Electric, which can be viewed in depth here.
